News and publicity

So – Yeah, it’s been a while. This is for good reason. With classes at BDC this summer and traveling the east Coast teaching Workshops. Bethany and I ended our east coast stint with a stop in Florida to present Danceregister Inc. at the Dance Studio Life Conference.  The exposure was wonderful and the response was everything I hoped for and more. I want to thank everyone, here and now, who took the time to visit our booth and for taking such interest in what Danceregister Web Services and the Danceregister Gated Communtiy has to offer the Dance Studio Industry.  Anyway, from there it was back to NYC for a week and then Cali. I was excited when I finally got back to San Jose. Time to finally rest for a week or so and slowly get back in a groove while playing “catch-up” -Yeah Right!

Eddie Garcia and Tim  Stevenson were in town teaching at Dance Connection and staying at the house.  Always great to see them and spend time catching up. I learned something about Eddie I never new before. My favorite TV performance by anyone  EVER was Michael Jackson’s performance of Dangerous at the MTV awards. Eddie being a Dancer for Michael Jackson for many years has performed that piece with Michael many times.  Pretty Darn Cool.

Tim has a new Dance convention/workshop in L.A. this year. He did ask if I could teach at the event, sadly I am not available. That is only because I will be on the road performing. I would eventually love to teach at his event in the future. Watch out for Dance Atack!

Shortly after they departed, The new Tap Dog arrived in town. For the last two weeks I have been training him up.  Although I wasn’t excited about 6AM for the last 14 days, it has been a great experience. This was the first time I had to ever teach someone else the show…CRAZY! But, since I love teaching and really respect, appreciate &  enjoy this show, the combination of doing both at the same time is wicked.

So here we are….In the last 2 days I have been working on all the above plus -still  building 2 dance studio web sites for DR-web services clients, finishing the training for  “probie”, teaching my normal classes (first week – wanted to say hello to my students), packing for a 3 month 40 city tour, sending out D4T (Dance4teachers) DVDs, doing interviews for the show and FINALLY getting to post a blog!

Tap w/u Soon,

Anthony
