VIMP (Very Important Music Post)
April 1, 2009 on 10:45 am | In Music | No CommentsNeed to edit music for the recital or a competition? Well, if you are pressed for time, don’t like to edit your own music, have too many songs to handle, or not confident your computer editing skillz, then you will love this…..
I recently met the owners of Musiceditingonline. It is an excellent service where they do just what they say. You give them the music and they do the editing.
Remember! I always say “the song or the music is the driving force behind a performance. It motivates the dancers and will help engage your audience.” The music can make or break piece in a variety of ways. Bad sound, throwing off the count, low sound quality, a back-round hiss, or a fistful of other culprits are just a few of the issues that are on my personal “sound issues” list. Why? They can and will be a distraction and more often than not trump a good performance every time.
If you know how to edit your own music, you rock! I edit on my Mac and do so using Sound Studio. The best thing to do, when looking for the right music editing software or any software for that matter, is to visit download.com. You can use a variety of search methods and the reviews and rankings are very useful. If you are searching via Google, then the key word is “open source”. Open source + (example) music editing will provide you with other options download.com may not offer.
So, if you like to do your own thing and feel you can produce a good quality final product, but you are still searching for your favorite software, I suggest downloading Sound Studio. However, when it comes to music editing, if you are in doubt, need help, tight on time, or just overwhelmed? Head to www.musiceditingonline.com and they will save the day, save the performance, or maybe just save your sanity.
